Invitation to Opening Ceremony of Indonesia Fashion Week 2016

Finally, 2 more days to go before Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2016. I think almost all people who love local branded, love fashion, love shopping, and love to see fashion show did the countdown in their mind. Including me, off course.

Menanti Indonesia Fashion Week 2016: Reflection of Culture

FASHION SHOW: “Andalucia Belezza” by Irna La Perle

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, Day 3

Irna La Perle!

When I saw the Fashion Show line up on the IFW 2015 schedule, Irna La Perle quickly got my attention. I love almost all collection from this brand. Keep following their update on the website, instagram, even stalked the designer instagram. Which none other than Irna Mutiara.

Well, I hope her dreams will come true.

So, how come I am not curious and excited o watch the show. After all, this is the first time for me to see the collection on the runway.

Ah, Do I love Irna La Perle? (Kim Tan style). Love the espanola influence mix with Indonesian and off course Islam. Really want to have one of the collections as my wedding gown.

Another standing applause for Irna Mutiara. So grateful that I could congratulate her in person and even took a picture with her. Thanks God, I was not freezing, trembling and speechless in front of her like the day before (read here).

FASHION SHOW: “Aku dan Sophie: Colors of Summer” by Sophie Paris

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, Day 3.

I kinda hesitated, at first, to visit the Indonesia fashion Week 2015, for the 3rd time in a row. Not because it was not interesting enough, but more because I felt kinda exhausted. The weekdays were quite crazy. Somehow worked in that week felt much tougher than usual.

But then it hit me again, it is Sophie Paris and Irna La Perle Fashion Show that I will be attending. THE Sophie Paris and THE Irna La Perle which I adore so much. Plus, I already asked my aunty to join us (me and Mom) and she was so excited  (she had some of  sophie paris products at hand). So, I will feel guilty over her.

Then it decided. Let’s Go!

At the venue, we almost late. At least, we thought so. Thanks God, the show was kind of delayed. It means, we’re definitely safe. Inside the main stage, it was very full.

I think it is because there will be 2 show in a row. 1st is from Sophie Paris and 2nd is from Irna La Perle. So it was not a surprise. Not to mention, this is the first time, ever, Sophie Paris had their Fashion Show at Indonesia Fashion Week.

Then it’s all start…

The background picture and music made us felt like we were in Paris. It was summer in Paris, to be exact. Then, one by one, fresh, bright, young, and colorful outfit shown to the audience.

Okay, I can definitely wear this with my hijab. (Photo credit: as tagged)

This one is my aunty’s favorite. Decided to buy it. Definitely wearable for hijaber like us. (Photo credit: as tagged)

Then here comes the end of the show. I guess, after the show, some of the audience will jump aboard to their booth. Since they kindly share goodie bag with a catalog, beautiful flowery pouch, and a voucher inside.

Happy shopping!

FASHION SHOW: “Miracle of The Sun” by Irna Mutiara and SMK NU Banat Kudus

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, Day 2

This is one of the fashion show that I’ve been waiting for. Why? Because I am a huge fans of Irna Mutiara as designer and also as a person herself.

Sudah lama sekali saya menyukai karya-karya mba Irna Mutiara dengan brand-nya Irna La Perle. Karya yang dihasilkan mba Irna selalu terlihat elegan, anggun, flowy, and soft. It just so beautiful.

So when Dwi told me she got the invitation for her show, I was like, “Oh my gosh. Kyaaaa…. Mba Irna. The brain behind Irna La Perle. Kyaaaa..” and Dwi just stunned with my reaction. She didn’t know my love for her before.

A kind woman offered to take our photograph while waiting for the show.

A kind woman offered to take our photograph while waiting for the show.

Jadi, tema fashion show mba Irna ini adalah “Miracle of the Sun.” Fortunately, I sat in the third row, so it will definitely spoils my beautiful eyes. Even though the show was delayed almost an hour (even the press a little bit annoyed by the delayed time (guessed from noises they made) but, I guess all the feeling is gone out the window right after the music in the background started to sound and first 3 models walk out in the runway.

I was like, “Oh My Gosh, Subhanallah… they were beautiful.” I mean whole package. The music, the lights, the story, the background picture, the clothes, the shoes, the accessories, the choreography.

Bagus banget, keren banget, indah banget! Bajunya kece badaiiii!!

Kisah ini dimulai ketika sang fajar datang hingga malam menjelang. It really is a “Miracle of the Sun.” the theme really did do the justice.

After a long minutes fascinated by the show. Then we started to pour what we had in mind about the show. I told Dwi that I felt like watching some kind of fairy tale or even a movie (it actually reminds me a lot of Lord of The Ring).

They really did look like some kind of fairy that so strong, brave, and fierce that actually can protect all the other fairy.

Just look at how they positioned themselves at the almost end of the show. They stood there on each side. It was like guarding all the other fairy safely.

IFW 2015 - day 2 (25)

End of the show.

IFW 2015 - day 2 (28)

The brain behind the amazingly stunningly incredibly beautiful show. Irna Mutiara and anak-anak SMK NU Banat Kudus.

And, all the applause for them. For me, it was absolutely standing applause. Because, we definitely will look more gorgeous with these kinds of clothes.

It really is the miracle (I wonder how many times I’ve said this before). Keterlambatan selama hampir selama 1 jam terbayar sudah. What a perfect show.

And lastly, we had a very rare chance to congratulate mba Irna. Dwi dan mama malah sempat cipika-cipiki plus foto bareng.

While me, I am stunned, freezed and trembling when I actually met her in person. I couldn’t even utter some word from my own mouth. That showed how much I like her then. See you later in Irna La perle Fashion Show ya mba Irna.

FASHION SHOW: “The Executive” by The Executive Collaboration With Hannie Hananto, Ria Miranda, and Jenahara

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, Day 2

Melanjutkan cerita dari postingan Waiting For Indonesia Fashion Week 2015 dan Indonesia Fashion Week 2015: D-Day . Saya dan Dwi serta mama dapat kesempatan untuk menyaksikan Fashion Show karya 3 desainer muda Indonesia, yaitu Hanie Hananto, Ria Miranda, dan Jenahara yang berkolaborasi dengan The Executive.

Kami excited sekali sampai-sampai kami sudah planning jauh-jauh hari how to dress up and how to get there, fast. Maklum saja, waktu antara mulainya fashion show dengan berakhirnya jam kerja kami sangat mepet.

So, we are carefully think how to manage our time so we won’t be late.

Saat D-Day, rencana kami buyar semua.

Last but not least, Setelah school hours, Professional Development about Teamwork and Meeting for Field Trip pun sudah menanti. What an unpredictable full day.

Alhasil, rencana kami pun terbang jauh out of the window. Kami pun tak sempat touch up apalagi dress up. We just hope, we can get out of the school ASAP. Not to mention, saya lapar tingkat dewa.

Anyway, Allah Maha Baik.

Sambil menengok jam di tangan, kami melangkahkan kaki secepat kilat menuju Main Stage which is quite far from the front gate. Sampai di sana, eng ing eng, waktu Fashion Show mundur lebih kurang 1 jam.

Sejam menunggu (lumayan untuk bernarsis ria, either selfie or wefie or candid shot) akhirnya, fashion show dimulai juga. The gate is open. Penuh, sampai-sampai dorong-dorongan sudah seperti mau menonton konser saja. Seperti takut tidak kebagian tempat duduk.

IFW 2015 - day 2 (1)

Finally, the show started.

The Executive x Hannie Hananto

Ciri khas Hannie Hananto (beliau berlatar belakang arsitek) adalah monochrome, black and white, bold, and clean cut. Benar-benar elegan dan sophisticated. I can even imagine myself wearing one of those clothes.

Definitely my favorite. (Photo credit: www.tribunnews.com)

The Executive x Ria Miranda

IFW 2015 - day 2 (9)

Suka sekali dengan earthy feeling dari koleksi Ria Miranda with The Executive.

The Executive x Jenahara

IFW 2015 - day 2 (10)

Jujur, no offense (ini cuma masalah preferensi tiap orang yang beda saja), saya super in love with Hannie Hananto collection.

I mean, I can imagine myself wearing those clothes, walk around the office, proudly, fierce, and act like a boss. Although, Ria Miranda and Jenahara will be best fitted also in another kind of office and another occasion.

Lastly, I am wondering if all these collection will be available in The Executive store around Indonesia. I should really save some money to grab one of those in the near future.

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015: D-Day

So, as I post before, I will share about my experiences throughout Indonesia Fashion Week 2015. Amazingly, for this 4 days event, I came 3 days in a row, day 1 until day 3.

Indonesia Fashion Week, Day 1

I am pretty much not enjoy it. Not because of the event, but mostly because I went there with a friend after our long working hours.

Not to mention, the venue was quite far from our office (or may I say school, since I am a teacher). Even when we took a cab and the traffic are quite friendly (it was bad, but not as bad as other day other hours).

The front gate of the venue. (photo credit: http://berita.maiwanews.com).

When we arrived, I was quite surprise, the venue is not as crowd as I imagined it would be. It indeed full of fashion people but exhibition hall and booth were quite spacious, which is good, so we can freely do a window shopping. I think it was due to the fact that it was a 1st day and already night time.

First thing to do was to find Hannie Hananto booth called Anemone to get our invitation for The Executive fashion show. Then we excitedly looked around.

Oh my gosh… speechless…

I was almost cry (too exagerated). Too many beautiful clothes, shoes, bag, jewellry, accesories, dress, abaya, veil, sandals and many more.

And most of them are LOCAL BRAND which means The Brands is Made In Indonesia. Can you imagine, the website did their justice by saying 700 more local brands joined this event.

The exhibition hall. Photo credit: http://www.satuharapan.com)

If you are a fashion lover, fashionista, fashion people, fashion blogger, or simply people who love to wear locals product then this is it. The most perfect event to attend.

You can spoils your eyes or even your closet at home with brands from newbie designer to very famous designer here in Indonesia. Just name it, Ivan Gunawan, Deden Siswanto, Poppy Darsono, Lulu Lutfilabibi, Dian Pelangi, Irna Mutiara and many more.

To add more, you can met themselves, THE Designer at their booth. Also you can just walk across lots of Fashion Blogger.

I, well, we could not take it any longer. We suddenly get dizzy (literally) after a few sightseeing, and trust me we just strolled for maybe an hour. Not because it was not to our liking, but it was because I couldn’t help myself, my heart, body, and soul to just grab them all and brought them all to my closet at home.

So, rather than stayed and strolled some more, we decided to go home and buried our desire deep inside. With a mission in mind, “I’ll BE BACK.”
