GUNPLA: AEU ENACT CUSTOM TYPE

Sebenarnya saya mau posting mengenai gunpla sejak zaman dahulu kala.

Indonesia still number one.

Benar saja, saking paginya, sampai-sampai pintu belum dibuka.

Bener-bener on time.

Ketika acara dimulai, masuklah MC nya.

Gokil sekali mereka berdua.

Back to the show.

Genderang Jepang Oedo SukerokuTaiko Jakarta. Sumpah keren abis.

Lumayan buat ngecilin lengan hehehehe.”

Tarian Kochi Yosakoi & Tarian Okinawa Eisa.

Tarian Yosakoi Soran.

Jadi, kami melewatkan penampilan Ren-Ai Project, No Generation Gaps (NGG) Band, “Nyanyi yuk!”

Penasaran seperti apa hujan salju? Hujan salju buatan pastinya. Mesin pembuat salju katanya khusus didatangkan dari Jepang sana. Yah, lumayanlah, bisa merasakan hujan salju, membuat snowman, sampai seluncuran.

Setelah semua booth dikelilingi. Perut mulai meronta-ronta berteriak kelaparan.

Tapi sumpah, worth it.

Enaaaaak. Nomnomnomnom. Dibanding makanan sama yang pernah saya makan. Ini yang terenak. Bikin nagih. Ditambah lagi makan bareng es serut rasa strawberry dan lychee. Segeeeer…

Sudah kenyang, lanjut lagi berkeliling. Semakin siang semakin ramai. Para cosplayer pun mulai berdatangan. Jepret sana jepret sini, para cosplayer laku diminta foto bareng bak diri mereka selebriti.

Ketika lagi bingung mau ngapain lagi, sayup-sayup terdengar suara nyanyian soundtrack anime.

Well, it turned out, Jakarta KEI ON is on the stage!

COSPLAY Show oleh CLASH. Cosplay ini lumayan seru. Sayangnya saya merasa lelah setelah semangat ikut bernyanyi, teriak, dan jingkrak-jingkrak bareng jakarta Kei On.

The show must go on. Jadilah kedua MC mendadak didaulat untuk menyumbangkan 1 lagu. Untung dua-duanya emang asli penyanyi.

Kato menyanyikan lagu laskar pelangi berbahasa Jepang, sedangkan Puti menyanyikan lagunya Ayumi Hamazaki berjudul sakura.

Keyeeeeeen. Jadi, sebenarnya, seperti hiphop dance, hanya saja memakai props 2 tali yang diayun.

Intinya, mereka ngedance sambil main lompat tali. Anggota team Fusion of Gambit ini cakep-cakep, mirip orang Korea.

Kelompok “Lagu-Lagu-Kai.”

Jadilah diputuskan kami mendengarkan 1 lagu saja. Pas banget suasananya. Sudah sore, mulai mendung, mulai berangin, ditemani alunan musik jazz. Adeeeem rasanya.

Aaaaaah… akhirnya selesai 1 lagu. But it’s okay, there will always be another chance. Next Year maybe.

So, we said goodbye to Jak-Japan Matsuri 2014. Meskipun melewatkan penampilan Mr. Kuriya Makoto, Angklung, Mikoshi, Jrocks, JKT 48, pesta kembang api, dan Bon Odori. Bisa dibilang kami sudah sangat puas. Dijamin bakal balik lagi tahun depan.

So, Mari Maju Bersama Bergandeng tangan!

Pengisi Suara Anime Kuroko’s No basuke

Sinopsis:

The Legendary Awesome Bboy Crew: ICHIGEKI

The Legendary Awesome Ichigeki showcase from BOTY 2005

For me who is not living as a dancer * but at least, in the past I did some lessons and performances for dancing and tried to did it again during my college but failed to continue * but I really enjoying them, whether just dance in the room, with my little student (not that complicated dance though), or just watched it in youtube or live performances.

So when I accidentally encountered these awesome guys from Ichigeki through youtube, I was like, OMG, they are awesome. Then came to my mind, what if I continue to dance back then? What if I had known about bboying things back then?  Will I seriously continue to dance? Well, But that is just a random though. I guess, everyone already had their life planned by God and already made choice for the path of their life.

Best showcase BOTY 2005

OK, that is OOT aka out of topic. Back to Ichigeki. Ichigeki was Bboy crew from Japan. They first show off to the world was back in the 2002 Battle of The Year (BOTY 2002). Then, 3 years later, they once represented Japan in BOTY 2005. Their performance in the final showcase was unforgettable by people who already watching it and considered as the best showcase ever seen in the history of BOTY * at least for me, it was * Even though they did not won the first place, but they did awarded as 2nd place and as The BEST Showcase for that year.

BOTY 2005 awards: 2nd place and Best Show

Sadly, this is their last performance with full members. They decided to disband after this BOTY because of their own reasons. Even so, I still believe that they are not literally disbanded as Ichigeki will always be in their heart. They even said that they are family and won’t stop being a bboy.

In my point of view, the way they show off in that BOTY was a perfect ending for them. They pour out all of their emotion, art, skill, musical feeling, act, and off course bboying into the show. They emerge themselves into the dance itself. It was like I can see them dance with all their heart and bring the best out as a crew. Just like they said in planet bboy vid, they can show their true self during the show without thinking about the outcome. They think that it will be fun and excited to dance at the big stage like BOTY.

Me, myself, had already watched their showcase in youtube * it will be hard to see them live nowadays since they disbanded, right? * for countless time, I even downloaded it. And gosh, I still got the same emotion every time. Can’t keep myself to admire them and that force me to write about them here. Just so, it will remind me of them in later years in case I’ve forgot when I’m getting older.

Some of the song used in the 2005 show:

  • Hardnoise – untitled

  • DJ Binhtendo – numb

Btw, As far as I know, the music was arranged and mixed by Katsu. It was said, that Katsu was the core of Ichigeki. He spending his life for dancing. During BOTY 2005, in Planet Bboy vid, his brother support him, want him to be strong mentally. What I love is what his mother said, that she want him to express his love for dancing without thinking about winning with greed. What a wonderful love send from mother to a son.

While Katsu’s dad, died three years before BOTY because of a liver tumor. Initially he wanted him to finish school and keep dancing as a hobby. They did not speak much when the father was still alive, but Katsu, before leaving Japan to take part in the BOTY 2005 in Germany, visits his father’s grave vowing to enjoy every moment of the experience because he knows his father will be watching over him. And he did enjoy it * just look at his dance in the showcase, like being posses in his own world then pull thousands of audience there into his world *

Katsu and family in his family’s green tea shop.

Katsu is still known worldwide until now for his innovative and emotional style of breakdance. And now, he is a part of Band known as 1.G.K. This band known for fusing techno, drum and bass, filter disco and break beats with the energy of club music and the passion of rock, describing as digital groove rock. I’m going to talk about 1.G.K in another time. Right now, it’s just ICHIGEKI.

Ichigeki members:

  1. Shin
  2. Prince
  3. Katsu
  4. Kousuke
  5. Nonman
  6. Quick
  7. Kenji
  8. Uozumi

Be The Light by One Ok Rock

So here is the song that really encourages me to be the “light” in someone darkness. To make our life more meaningful by helping others in pain and others who lost their hope. One Ok Rock is a band from Japan, one of many that I adore, not for their physic but for their woks. Their song and their music, especially when they are doing it acoustic or live * try to watch here *

We often heard the word ‘light’ use in many occasion. In this case, light, means hope. There will always hope in our life. Even after the hardest things happened in our life. Just like the song lyrics “Yesterday’s night turns to light,
Tomorrow’s night returns to light.” And that is a promise. Whatever happened, night will turn into day where there is light.

So, lets start being others light. Look out your surround and see who still in the darkness, and be the one who light the darkness.

Be The Light

Just the thought of another day
How did we end up this way
What did we do wrong?
God

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

Always weighing on my shoulder
A time like no other
It all changed on that day
Sadness and so much pain

You can touch the sorrow here
I don’t know what to blame
I just watch and watch again
O…

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

What did it leave behind?
What did it take from us and wash away?
It may be long
But with our hearts start a new
And keep it up and not give up
With our heads held high

You have seen hell and made it back again
How to forget? We can’t forget
The lives that were lost along the way
And then you realize that wherever you go
There you are
Time won’t stop
So we keep moving on

Yesterday’s night turns to light
Tomorrow’s night returns to light
O… Be the light

Always weighing on my shoulder
A time like no other
It all changed on that day
Sadness and so much pain

Anyone can close their eyes
Pretend that nothing is wrong
Open your eyes
And look for light
O…

What did it leave behind?
What did it take from us and wash away?
It may be long
But with our hearts start a new
And keep it up and not give up
With our heads held high

Yeah, yeah…

You have seen hell and made it back again
How to forget? We can’t forget
The lives that were lost along the way
And then you realize that wherever you go
There you are
Time won’t stop
So we keep moving on

Yesterday’s night turns to light
Tomorrow’s night returns to light
O… Be the light

Some days just pass by and
Some days are unforgettable
We can’t choose the reason why
But we can choose what to do from the day after
So with that hope, with that determination
Let’s make tomorrow a brighter and better day

You’re The Only by Masatoshi Ono (Sho)

By Masatoshi Ono, himself

By Sho with Galneryus

So, this week song will be Japanese song, represent by a song which is oldies but an everlasting one. The title is “You’re The Only…” This is a single from Masatoshi Ono * now, he is known as Sho, vocalist of a Japanese Band called Galneryus * This song also used as an OST for Dorama (Japanese drama) titled Anything for you (Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto). A dorama that is very worth to watch * make me cry a river back then everytime I watch it, even when I only hear the song *

The story line is very good, the ost is very touching, and the ending is very warm also heartbreaking. It kinda reminds me of “Ghost” movie. Eventhough I don’t really understand Japanese language (I only understand some words or sentences that usually been used in manga or anime), but I love this song so much. Very romantic and nostalgic. Here you go, the lyric

English Translation Lyrics

On the sand dunes with you at midnight…

The melody of the waves…

When we look at the sky, see, There’s a chandelier of stars.

I love you tonight I wish time would stop …

A shooting star sparkles;

I want to tell you how I feel right now.

We’ll be this way forever;

I want to hold you strongly and fly away.

Your sparkling eyes Only reflect me

My song for you, just only you…

I’ll love only you.

The sea, unusual for this season, Leaves only memories…

The two of us, snuggling up close, see, Are like swaying diamonds.

I love you tonight I only want to be with you…

My heart is shining;

I want to make my wish come true right now.

You’ll be my angel forever;

We’ll chase after the same dream.

My shining eyes See every bit of you

My song for you, just only you…

I’ll only look at you.

We’ll be this way forever;

I want to hold you strongly and fly away.

Your sparkling eyes Only reflect me

My song for you, just only you…

I’ll love only you.

I Admit, I am a Huge Fans of Anime and Manga

background manga blog

Some of my fav.

Who don’t know Anime and Manga, Right? But, liking them, that is another question. In Indonesia, during my old days, manga was called as comic. Actually, it is very different with the real ‘comics.’  It usually published from Japan or Korea. The readers are wide range, from children to granny or grandpa. Why? Because sometimes, they started to read and watched it since they were a child an continued until they get older. There is no age limit for this kind of “fans” Take me for example.

Strawhat Pirates (3)Even though there are some people out there who look down on us. Just because they thought that manga or anime is a childish things, made people forget reality, induced laziness and other and other.

Even I’ve encountered such people. All I need is proved them that they were wrong. And they will kept silence. For instance, be a person who love manga and anime but still had good grades at school and still had lots of friends out there.

Anyway, I think it depends on the person. For me, manga and anime is a symbol of hard work and art. Can you imagine how many people involved during the making of anime? How much talent needed just to make it into one. Or even how many efforts to be made to make them published or on air.

So, how come, some people think shallow about manga and anime? I guess, it is just because they yet to understand it or yet to try like it.

I, myself, love manga and anime because I always got some good lesson it. I could learn the language (Japanese language), learn history I had not known before because sometimes, there are anime or manga based on real history, found great quotes (from the character), or even other positive things such as friendship, hard work, self confidence, dare to dreams, and etc.

qa7kiz8aSo, how come I’ve become one of the anime and manga “fans”? Well, have you ever heard about Doraemon or his ‘immortal’ friend Nobita? I said immortal because he never aged since it was first aired on TV.

You can say that Doraemon is the first manga and anime in my life. Back then, I was amazed with Doraemon pocket. I mean, you can get all you want from there, and for me as a child, it was pretty amazing.

Since then, I don’t know how many mangas I’ve been read and how many animes I’ve been watched.
anim09For manga, I have a little history with it. It started during my school days. At first, I borrowed it from friends, which I usually read it during school hours. I put it inside the textbook or read it under the table… hehehe… please don’t imitate me.

Then, I asked my dad (RIP) to buy it every time we went monthly shopping. When once a month is not enough, I decided to save my pocket money and bought it.

Later on, when there was a manga rent shop, I just kept going there. Until finally, technology understand me. Ups, I mean I understand technology.

Now, I just need an internet connection and bam! It’s all there to read and watch.

The famous Hana Yori Dango

The famous Hana Yori Dango

Oh, by the way, from manga, sometimes they turned it into anime or vice versa. Next on, from anime or manga, they turned them into drama or movie.

Remember Hana Yori Dango? Just named it. Start from manga to anime to Taiwanese drama (Meteor Garden). Followed by Dorama/ Japanese drama (Hana Yori Dango). Also, K-Drama (Boys Before flowers).

As far as I remember, here, in Indonesia, there was also a drama adapted from it, but I totally forgot what the title of the drama is. And it’s all started from a MANGA! WOW! Just WOW!

So, if you like manga and anime, it is absoulutely okay to continue liking it and admit it. Just don’t forget, there are many kinds of manga and anime. Read and watch appropriately as your age.

Just for reminiscence, these are some of manga and anime I’ve been read and watched and the list still continued on till now.

Sneak Peek at Motto Festival 2012

At Saturday, October 13, 2012. I went to Pluit Village to see Motto festival. It was a loooong journey to get there, since I live in another part of Jakarta.

Thank God there is busway, so I just need to take 2 vehicle to get there. And finally, after almost 2 hours trip, I was in the BIGGEST J-INDO Band Festival.

img_0994img_1012After some window shopping in Pluit Village. I felt absolutely hungry. Look around and decided to eat takoyaki. Since I love cheese, I pick Cheese takoyaki. Rp. 15.000 for 6 pieces takoyaki. While it was very hot, I impatiently ate one of them. Waaa… it’s definitely a bad idea. But then, I enjoyed eating, especially the octopus slice inside it. LOVE IT!

For you who still don’t know, yet. Takoyaki or octopus balls is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion. It brushed with takoyaki sauce, then sprinkled with green laver (aonori) and shavings of dried bonito or cheese (just like the one I ate).

After that, I try this tea called Prendjak Tea. Apparently, this tea is produced in Tanjung Pinang. It has quite different taste with some tea that I already tasted before. Kind of Unique. Especially when I drink it cos I am very thirsty. 2 big cups of these tea still not enough for this hot sunny day.

While we were enjoying our food and drink, some band performed on stage. Then, it was time for COSPLAY COMPETITION.  Cosplay,  short for “costume play,” is a type of performance art in which participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea.

Then suddenly, the venue was crowded. I hardly sneaked into the crowd to get in front of the stage. Prepared to capture great moments of cosplay performances.

img_0955 img_0960 img_0965 img_0975 img_0981 There was also a battle between the cosplayer.

img_0966 Now, these looks like some meccha costume. I wonder how they made those costume. It’s not broken eventhough they made such a movement. Not to think that it was a very hot day. It must be pretty hard and hot wore those costume.

img_0950 img_0988 img_0998 img_1004And last but not least, it was the end of the cosplay performances. And I decided to go home. Remember, my house is far away from Pluit. Even so, I am pretty delight with this festival. So excited being there. Hoping there will be more of these kind of festival. And hopefully I could be there, again.
